How to Make Witch Hazel and Bergamot Deodorant
Witch hazel and bergamot deodorant requires natural ingredients that can be purchased at most health food stores or online. Things You'll Need
- Witch hazel
- Bergamot essential oil
- Essential tea tree oil
- Essential lavender oil
- Wooden spoon or disposable stirrer
- Sterilized glass bottle with top or fine-spray mister
- Clean plastic funnel

Combine 1 cup witch hazel and 60 drops bergamot essential oil in a small saucepan. Cover and heat over low heat for two to three minutes or until warm.

Add 10 drops each of essential tea tree oil and lavender oil. Stir with a wooden spoon or disposable stirrer.

Transfer the contents of the saucepan into a sterilized glass bottle using a clean plastic funnel.

Shake the bottle vigorously for about 20 seconds. Set aside in a cool, dark place for 24 hours before first use. Shake before each application.

Tips & Warnings
Apply by spraying several times under each arm or use a cotton ball if your bottle does not have a mister.
Avoid storing or mixing any type of homemade deodorant in an aluminum container, as heavy metals may enter the body through the pores.
