Tips & Warnings
A lightweight fleece will work for the snuggle blanket, but a double thickness, polar or heavy weight might be better.
You can hand sew the snuggle blanket or use a sewing machine. A zigzag stitch on the sewing machine is best for the attaching the sleeves, however.
Because of how fleece is made, there is no need to hem or finish the raw edges. You can sew them up, but there is no need. The fabric will not pull or run.
If you would like to add pockets to your snuggle blanket, cut out the armholes carefully and sew them to the outside of the snuggle blanket. Pockets provide a place to put your remote controls or glasses when you are relaxing under your snuggle blanket.
