How to Care for an Outdoor Macrame Plant Hanger

Things You'll Need

• Bucket
• Warm water
• Detergent

Instructions

1. Fill a bucket with warm, soapy water. Use 1 to 2 tablespoons of a mild detergent.

2. Place the macramé plant hanger in the warm water and allow to soak for half an hour.

3. Use your hand to swirl the plant hanger in the water several times.

4. Pour out soapy water and rinse with clean water a couple of times.

5. Hang your macramé plant hanger outside to drip dry.

• Add a small amount of fabric softener to the last rinse. This will soften the macramé cord and make it more flexible.
