How to Care for Pinch Pleated Drapes

Instructions

1. Pull out the long-handled brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner and turn the machine to its lowest setting, or a drapery setting if it has one, so that its suction power is diminished.

2. Start vacuuming at the far end of your pinch pleated drapes, beginning at the top and slowly working your way down, being careful not to dislodge the drapery rod.

3. Take your pinch pleated drapes to a dry cleaner that specializes in custom window treatments for an annual cleaning, or if they get stained.
