How to Change GIF Files to JPG Files
GIF and JPG are two different image formats used by computers. Some digital cameras can take pictures in the two different formats. However, you may find that only one specific image type is accepted by a particular program, and you may need to convert one of the file types to the other. Luckily this can be done without too much time and effort.

Download the JPG Photo Converter program (follow the link in "Resources"). On the page, click "Download JPG/JPEG Photo Converter."

Double-click the download file to launch the installation wizard. You will be asked to accept a license agreement. Read it and check the box if you agree. Follow the remaining prompts to complete the installation.

Launch the photo converter. There is going to be a new desktop icon and a new tab under "All Programs" on the "Start" menu.

Click the "Open Photo" tab to select the GIF photo you want to convert.

Set the quality control to 100 percent and click the "Browse" tab to select a location for the converted file to be saved. Click "Convert." You are asked to what format you want to convert the image. Select "JPG" and click "OK." The GIF image now begins to convert to JPG.
