How to Make Rosemary and Neroli Herbal Cologne
Rosemary and neroli essential oil is a very simple fragrance that is made with ingredients that can be found in almost any health food store. If you can't find essential oils in your area, they can be ordered from many different retailers over the Internet. Rosemary and neroli cologne has a mildly masculine smell; however, it can be used by both men and women. To give the cologne a more typically feminine scent, add a little more neroli essential oil while subtracting the same amount of rosemary essential oil. This cologne will keep for about six months. Things You'll Need
- 2 cups high-proof vodka
- ¼ cup distilled water
- ¼ tsp. lemon essential oil
- ¼ tsp. neroli essential oil
- 10 drops rosemary essential oil

Pour the high-proof vodka into a clean glass jar with the distilled water and lemon essential oil. Replace the cap and shake well. Set aside for 30 minutes to infuse.

Add the neroli and rosemary essential oils and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.

Place the glass jar in a cool, dry place and let sit for 48 hours before first use.

Tips & Warnings
Shake the jar gently before applying the cologne, as the essential oils tend to separate and sink to the bottom of the jar.
Apply the cologne to your pulse points with either the tip of your finger or a cotton ball.
Avoid mixing or storing any type of homemade cologne in an aluminum container, as there is concern about heavy metals entering the bloodstream through the pores of the skin.
