How to Make Organic Lemon Hair Spray

Organic lemon hair spray is a very simple, natural homemade hair spray that can be made in less than ten minutes with ingredients that can easily be found in almost any grocery store. Many commercially available hair sprays have potentially harmful preservatives and additives that may cause health problems, or at the very least, damage your hair. Homemade hair sprays eschew the use of preservatives, making a safer, healthier hair spray for yourself and your family. Lemon hair spray will keep for about one month if stored in the refrigerator between uses. Does this Spark an idea?

Tips & Warnings

  • Spray on styled hair from about 6 to 8 inches away, shielding the eyes. You may need to use a little bit more lemon hair spray than hair sprays sold in retail stores.

  • Avoid mixing or storing any type of homemade hair or skin care products in aluminum containers, as there is some concern that possibly dangerous heavy metals will enter the body through the scalp and bloodstream.
