How to Turn On the Radio Feature in Your iPod
Until the release of the iPod nano, iPod users would have to purchase accessories and attach them to their iPod to listen to FM radio. The iPod nano features a built-in FM radio that allows instant access to local channels. Pausing songs and marking a song as a favorite in your iTunes library are two features of the radio function on this style of iPod. The display of the nano shows the name of the artist and the song playing on the radio, according to Apple's official website.
