Cut a piece of leather string about 30 inches longer than the desired necklace length. Slide the large bead onto the string so that it rests in the middle. Line the string ends up evenly and tie them together in a small, tight knot above the bead. This should make the bead hang down a little in the center of the necklace.

Slide three small beads onto the left leather string. Tie a small and tight knot in the string to keep the three beads tight together. Add another three beads to the string and tie another knot.
