How to Complete the Valor Quest in Diablo
The Valor quest is found on Level 5 of the Catacombs in the single-player mode of "Diablo." The reward for completing the quest is Arkaine's Valor, a unique set of armor. It isn't very helpful later in the game, especially for warriors, because of its low armor class, but it's much better than other armor found early in the game.

Look around Level 5 until you locate a cross-shaped room complex. The two side rooms will have no doors and cannot be accessed, while the bottom room will have two doors.

Open one of the doors. You will be faced by several horned demons, which attack by charging and can be very dangerous. Opening the door with a telekinesis spell, if you have it, will give you a heads-up on the monsters.

Kill the horned demons and read the Book of Valor. Enter the next room and pick up the bloodstone. Click on the Altar of Blood to place the bloodstone in it. This will open the room to your left.

Walk around to the room on your left, where you can see two horned demons inside. Since there is no door, the demons will see you and charge as soon as you pass by. Don't enter the room: Stay outside and deal with the monsters one at a time as they come out after you.

Kill the horned demons and pick up the bloodstone they were guarding. Return to the altar and place that bloodstone, which will open the room to your right. Kill the horned demons there and pick up the bloodstone.

Place the third and final bloodstone in the altar. This will cause the wall in front of you to disappear, revealing a narrow room with more horned demons. Kill them--watch for the final one or two lurking in the corners--and pick up Arkaine's Valor.

Tips & Warnings
Arkaine's Valor gives its wearer Armor Class 25, +10 to Vitality, -3 damage from enemies and fastest hit recovery.
Even if Arkaine's Valor is not useful to your character, it has a very high selling price, making this quest valuable for purchasing other equipment.
