How to Connect a Wireless FIOS Printer

Connecting a wireless printer to your Verizon FIOS network enables you to access your printer from anywhere in your home wirelessly. In addition, you can have other computers use that printer without having to switch wires or deal with cables; instead, they will all be able to access the printer directly through the network. Setting up your printer to work with your wireless FIOS network should only take about half an hour, but it requires a printer that is made to be used with a wireless network.

Repeat steps six through nine for every computer on the network that you wish to use with the printer.

Tips & Warnings

  • Though you usually should not connect the printer directly to a computer on initial installation, there is a chance that the installation program will have trouble identifying the printer, at which point it may ask you to connect the printer to the computer using a USB cable. Only do this if you are prompted to do so.
