How to Make Numbered Labels
Numbered labels have endless uses in your home and office. Whether you need them for school projects, filing, organizing legal documents, or any other purpose, it is free and easy to create them online by following just a few simple steps and without needing to download any software. Because most store-brand and generic labels provide the corresponding Avery product number, it is not even necessary to use Avery brand labels to use their user-friendly online design and print service.

1
Load your labels into your printer. The proper way to do this varies by printer, so be sure that you load them correctly so that the printing will appear on the label side, not the backing.
-
2
Open your Internet browser and use it to open the Avery Design & Print Online page. If the packaging on your labels includes an Avery product number, enter that in the blank provided. If not, select the type of label you have from the menu on the left, then choose the specific labels you will be using based on their measurements.

Use the toolbar on the right to add numbers to your labels. Begin by clicking the Add Text Box button. You will be able to move the box, make it bigger or smaller, and change the font. After entering the first number in the series you want to print, then click to uncheck the Autocopy box.

Click on the rest of the labels to change the numbers to complete the series of numbers you want to print to complete your page of labels. Follow the final prompts to save your project if you wish or just print it.
