How to Sync iPod to a PC iTunes

The iPod as one of the top selling personal audio devices that allow users to listen to their music, run applications and even watch video. An iPod comes with iTunes, which is a software designed to synchronize, among other things, the data on your iPod. Syncing your iPod to your PC using iTunes allows you to upload all of the music from iTunes on your PC to your iPod.

      Connect your iPod to the PC by plugging in the iPod USB cable into the computer. The cable plugs into the iPod's power output. This will automatically open iTunes. If iTunes isn't installed on the PC, insert the iTunes disk that came with the iPod and run the installation wizard.

      Select your iPod by clicking on the iPod's name under "Devices" on the right side of iTunes. This will allow you to view all of the movies and music on your iPod.

      Click the tab representing the data that you'd like to sync, such as music or movies.

      Click the check mark box titled "Sync." A pop-up box will confirm the sync. Click on "Sync" to begin syncing.

      Repeat steps two through four to sync other types of data, such as Podcasts and photos.
