How to Reset My 30G Video iPod

A 30G video iPod has the capacity for 30 gigabytes of video and other media files. The 30G video iPod is a 5th generation iPod. If you have a 30G video iPod that is not responding you can reset the iPod to get it back to working order. You do not need to take a 30G video iPod into the Apple Store to have it reset.       Charge the video iPod if it is not already charged. Before doing a reset Apple recommends in the user manual that is iPod is charged.

      Toggle the "Hold" switch on the video iPod on and off by sliding it back and forth.

      Press and hold the "Center" and "Menu" buttons for a period of at least six seconds. Hold until the Apple logo appears to complete the reset.
