How to Change the Mozilla Firefox Homepage

Mozilla Firefox is a popular web browser. It is open source software, meaning there are a lot of optional (and free) plugins available that can enhance the browser and make certain tasks easier. By default, Firefox opens the Mozilla home page. This can easily be changed in the browser's Options menu. The Options menu also controls other important features such as security, saved information and plugins.

Instructions

1. Open Firefox.

2. Click "Tools."

3. Select "Options."

4. Select the "Main" tab. Open the drop-down box near "When Firefox starts" and select "Show my home page."

5. Click the text box near "Home page." Change the URL (e.g., http://www.mozilla.com) to any website you want Firefox to display every time you start it. Click "OK."
