How to Decorate on Top of Kitchen Cabinets in Tuscany Style
Tuscan design is recognized by rich, nature-inspired colors, such a deep green and red, gold, burnt orange and purple. As Italy is known for wine, when adding accessories, incorporate olives, grapes and vines, as well as wrought iron for backdrop and framing. No Tuscan-inspired design is complete without wine and a rooster, so leave room for a kitchen friend. Another key in Tuscan design is clay pottery and marble. Upholster chairs with tapestry and hang window treatments with matching fabric for truly inspired Tuscan kitchen cabinet decor. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Position wrought iron work at the rear of the cabinets to act as the backdrop for the rest of the accessories. Place so that the wrought iron is the center of the rest of the accessories.
-
2
Place a small painting with fruit or wine in front of the iron piece. Overlap accessories slightly, but don't overload your cabinets or completely block one item with another.
-
-
3
Group clay pots in odd numbers, by color or shape. A clay water pitcher fits in Tuscan design.
-
4
Add in faux wax fruit. Turn a pot on its side and have fruit spilling out of the pot. This look can also be accomplished in a wicker basket.
-
5
Weave floral vines in the wrought iron and make it spill out onto the top of the cabinet and surround the pots and other accessories.
