Things You'll Need
- Leather Ggoves
- Water
- Mild dish detergent
- Bowl
- Sponges
- Towels
- Vegetable oil or beeswax

Put on clean leather gloves. If you are cleaning a sharp Damascus steel blade, it's easy to cut yourself, so take precautions.

Mix warm water and a drop of mild dish detergent in a bowl. A little water and detergent goes a long way.
