How to Copy & Paste Something Using Control Keys
While using a computer, invariably you will need to copy items from one location and paste them into different locations. Take a shortcut by using the control keys to copy and paste. With only a few quick keystrokes, you copy the item onto the clipboard of your computer. The clipboard is a location for temporary storage of documents, files, text or images. Once you have placed an item onto the clipboard, it will stay there until you replace it with something else. While an item is on the clipboard, you can navigate to the place where you want to paste it. With another simple control key command, you can paste the item and continue your work.
