How to Install Atari 2600 to a LCD TV
The Atari 2600 is one of the original video game systems and offered such classics as Pac-Man and Tetris. If you own one of these systems (whether it is from your childhood or you recently purchased one) you may want to reconnect the Atari 2600 to an LCD television. However, the video connections have changed significantly since the early 1980s (when the Atari originated), so you'll need to convert your connection before you can begin playing the gaming system.

Find the connecting cable running from the back side of your Atari 2600 gaming system. This is an RCA cable, however it provides both audio and video information, so it is not going to function in the red, white and yellow RCA ports.

Plug the RCA cable into the coaxial-to-female RCA adapter. This small piece is generally going to cost a few dollars and can be purchased at most specialty electronics stores such as Radio Shack.

Connect the coaxial end of the RCA adapter into the "In" port on the back of the LCD TV.

Power on both the LCD TV and the Atari 2600 gaming system. You can now insert any game cartridge and begin playing on the video game system.
