Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the electrical fence charger. To be certain, pull the plug to avoid shock.

    • 2

Grab a couple of wire splices and a splice crimper and head back out to the broken wire. A wire splice is a small metal tube. Collect both ends of the broken fence wire. Thread one wire end into the metal splice from left to right and the other wire end into the opposite end of the same metal splice from right to left. Hold the two wires so they don't pull free of the metal splice and position the crimp tool so when the jaws close shut they bite into the metal splice and flatten it against the two wires. Crimp the splice three more times.

    • 3

Tug the two wires in opposite directions to make sure the wire splice is secure.

    • 4

Plug the fence charger back in and turn it on.
