      Fill out the grant application. Different organizations will have different requirements for the grant application. Grants.gov allows you to download the application, complete it offline, and then submit it through their online system. After you have submitted your application they will give a tracking number so you can track your application. You will include your grant proposal in your grant application.

      Wait for the results of your grant application. You will receive a letter in the mail detailing either a denial of the grant or an approval of your grant request. The letter will outline further information regarding the grant, such as the disbursement of the grant money. There may be contact information included so you can contact them about your grant.
