Instructions

    • 1

Spread potpourri on a newspaper. Spray paint the potpourri with your preferred color. Allow the paint to dry, then turn the potpourri over and add more paint to cover any bare spots on the other side.

    • 2

After the paint dries, place the potpourri in the Mason jar.

    • 3

Wrap 1 inch of lace around the neck of the jar. Leave 1/2 inch of overlap. Glue the lace around the bottom of the jar's neck, so that the lace rests on the bulge of the jar.

    • 4

Place a glass votive candle holder in the mouth of the Mason jar.

    • 5

Secure a ribbon around the threaded neck of the jar. Allow the top edge of the ribbon to overlap the glass votive by 1/4 of an inch.

    • 6

Tie a bow at the front of the jar with the ribbon. Make sure it covers the overlap of the lace.

    • 7

Glue silk flowers onto the ribbon. Use your choice of flower designs and colors.

    • 8

Place the candle in the votive candle holder.
