How to Convert Wav Files to MP3 in Ubuntu 64

All versions of Ubuntu, including the 64-bit version, have the Sound Converter software available in the Medibuntu software repository. The Medibuntu software repository is where the media packages that cannot be included in the Ubuntu distribution are held. Sound Converter is a graphical audio conversion application that uses the Gstreamer library to perform the conversion. Sound Converter can read most of the major audio formats, including WAV, and can convert the files to the WAV, FLAC, MP3, AAC, and Ogg Vorbis formats.
