Using a box cutter, cut a small slit in the top of the box. The slit should be about 1/4" wide and four inches long, or big enough to fit an envelope through.

Fold a piece of cardstock in half. The cardstock will be used to label the wishing well. Use your felt tip marker to write something like 'baby's wishing well' on the cardstock.

    • 4

Place the box (wishing well) and cardstock on an entry table or on the gift table so that guests can find it easily at the baby shower.

Tips & Warnings

  • Choose a decorative gift wrap that compliments the theme of the baby shower or if it's a boy, use blue gift wrap and if it's a girl, pink gift wrap.

  • You can also choose to print the wishing well label from your computer instead of hand writing it.

  • For a decorative touch, use a large ribbon to tie around the box (wishing well).

  • Encourage your guests to write down a wish for mom and baby and put these wishes in the wishing well.
