How to Make Shower Gifts With Baby Washcloths
Washcloths are a popular gift for baby showers and one that will be desperately needed, and used frequently, by new mothers. Giving a useful gift, however, does not mean the gift cannot be fun as well. A creative display of the washcloths will have the mother-to-be and baby shower gifts exclaiming with delight the same as they do over the cutest baby outfits and most impressive toys. A little extra time and creativity in presentation will go a long way.

- Different colored washcloths
- Rubber bands
- Popsicle sticks
- Clear plastic wrap
- Ribbon

Creating Baby Wash Cloth Lollipop

Choose three washcloths of coordinating colors, such as dark pink and light pink, pink and purple or pink and white. Fold one cloth in half, then in half again. Repeat with the other two cloths, but only folding these in half once.

Insert a Popsicle stick into the middle of the multiple folded first cloth so that the cloth wraps around it. Secure the towel in place by wrapping a clear rubber band around the middle of the cloth.

Take a different colored, once folded washcloth and place it over the top of the first. Secure with rubber band. Repeat with the last cloth and secure with rubber band. The last cloth should be the same color as the first.

Wrap entire washcloth "lollipop" in clear plastic. Tie around Popsicle stick with ribbon.
Second Candy Washcloth

Fold two different colored washcloths in half and lay flat on top of each other.

Pinch the top ends together and roll tightly into a ball. The result should look like a multi-colored, swirled ball.

Secure with a clear rubber band. Place Popsicle stick in back, tucked under rubber band, if desired. Wrap either circle candy drop or lollipop in clear plastic and secure with ribbon.

Create multiple lollipops and candy drops and present on a platter or tray for maximum visual appeal.
