How to Make Thyme and Orange Peel Deodorant
Thyme and orange peel deodorant is a simple, natural deodorant made with ingredients that can easily be found in almost any health food or grocery store. Things You'll Need
- 1/2 cup fresh thyme
- Zest of 1 Valencia orange
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar

Place the fresh thyme and orange zest in a sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Pour the apple cider vinegar over the thyme and orange peel and replace the lid. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for 14 days, shaking daily.

Transfer the deodorant to an 8 oz. glass jar with a wide-mouth top.

Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and rub under each arm to use.

Tips & Warnings
Avoid mixing or storing any type of homemade deodorants skin care products in an aluminum container, as there is serious concern about heavy metals entering the skin through the pores.

can you substitute other spices for the thyme? cloves or cinnamon perhaps?
