How to Build an Online Dropship Store
Owning a business is a goal many entrepreneurs start out with, and some of those entrepreneurs make their goal a reality with an online drop-shipping store.
Frank Ross explains how a drop ship arrangement works in his Home-Based Business Blog: "Your customer orders from you, you order from the supplier and the supplier sends the product to the customer," Ross wrote in his blog. "Three parties involved but it's transparent to the customer."

Build Your Own Online Drop-Ship Store
-
1
Develop a name for your business that you can put on your business certificate. Since a website name can be changed easier than a business name, it is a good idea to develop the business name first and worry about finding a suitable website address later.
-
2
Go to the local government licensing office and establish a business certificate for your company. You will need this to set up a bank account, and many manufacturers and wholesalers require a business certificate to do business with them as well.
-
-
3
Open a bank account in your company name.
-
4
Determine what website address you would like to use and then purchase your website domain. If you are inexperienced in e-commerce then hire a firm that can help you establish a secure checkout function for your store. Many merchant credit card companies that offer services to online retailers offer secure checkout services as well.
-
5
Establish relationships with the various manufacturers and wholesalers with which you would like to do business. Ask each vendor if they offer blind drop-shipping services. Blind drop-shipping is the process of having the vendor ship to your customer for you, but they put your company name on all of the paperwork.

Tips & Warnings
Take your time in finding the right wholesalers and manufacturers. Wholesalers might be a better choice as they would offer a wider variety of products than manufacturers would. Always check the level of customer service each wholesaler offers before doing business with them. Remember that their customer service is your customer service as well.
