Things You'll Need

  • Vinegar
  • Water
  • Pot or container
  • Stove
  • Spray bottle
  • Stiff scrubbing brush
  • Baking soda
  • Spoon
  • Sponge
  • Automatic dishwasher detergent

  1. Vinegar and Water

      Mix up a solution of one part white vinegar to one part water, heat on the stove top or in the microwave and pour into a spray bottle.

      Spray the bottom of the tub with the heated solution and allow to remain for approximately 15 minutes.

      Scrub the bottom of the tub with a stiff scrub brush and rinse thoroughly.

    Baking Soda

      Place 1 cup of baking soda into a container and mix with small amounts of water until it reaches the consistency of paste.

      Use a damp sponge to apply the paste to the bottom of the tub. Rub the paste into the tub as you are applying it.

    Automatic Dishwasher Detergent
