How to Put Brackets on a Vinyl Fence
There are many different styles of vinyl fence, each with its own particular method for installation. 1
Use the screws included with the brackets and a power drill to attach a bracket near the bottom of your fence post (the post should already be installed in the ground). Drill the screws through the face of the bracket into the post to affix the bracket about an inch up from the ground. This will be used to attach the bottom rail of the fence.

2
Use a tape measure to measure the height of one fence panel. With this measurement, you can determine where to attach your top bracket. Measure up from your previously attached bracket and mark the height of your fence panel on the post. Screw the top bracket into the post at the height you marked.

Slide a panel of fence into the brackets and have someone help you hold it in place. Insert screws through the sides of the brackets to screw the rails into place. Make sure you screw in all sides of both rails to secure the panel to the post.

4
Affix a set of brackets to the next post, following the same process in the steps above. Slide the other end of the fence panel into the brackets and secure the rails with screws. The fence should now be firmly secured in both sets of brackets.

Tips & Warnings
You can use vinyl screw caps to hide the screws of the brackets. These tiny, vinyl caps slip over the heads of the screws to hide them. This will give your fence a more finished look.
