How to Use a Brunton Metal Lensatic Compass
The Brunton metal lensatic compass is available in a brass finish (model 9076) and a green finish (model 9077). The compass is also available in plastic (model 9075). These lensatic compasses resemble the lensatic compass commonly used in the United States military for land navigation. This association between the lensatic compass and the military has allowed for widespread familiarity with the lensatic compass and widespread availability. This has also allowed for the development of very reliable techniques for using the lensatic compass.
