One of the ways to have more money is to save more and spend less. Do you know that if you save 1$ a day that saves you 365$ a year. For that amount you need to spend less only 7$ a week. Imagine how much more will you keep just by saving more.

      Before you get your paycheck, calculate how much money do you spend on gas and food and all necessities and keep that amount in the bank.
      Look at your monthly statement and calculate how great your monthly expenses on fast food and snacks. Multiply by 12 and see how much could you have saved just by not buying any fast food.

      Have a savings account and commit to have it growing every month. Designate an amount by which your account will increase every month no matter what. Create a gift account for the end of the year, birthday gifts and etc.

      Shop for food only once a month at Costco or other clubs and avoid going to the grocery stores between those times. This will save you a lots of money on gas, too.

      Plan your purchases ahead of time only after a thorough research on best offers and deals. Compulsive purchases are usually not being planned and can drain your savings.
