How to change your MySpace 2.0 layout
Are you sick of that same old boring myspace profile page? Myspace is a social networking website that is very popular. Myspace allows you to open an account for free and connect with your friends and family. Many myspace users like to customize their profile pages and this article will help you learn how to also. During Christmas time, you may want a Christmas layout that glitters with snow or during Halloween, you may want a haunted house look on your myspace page.

Log in to your Myspace account. Make sure you have a profile page set up. If you are new to Myspace, you may need to add a profile page and now is a good time to do this. You want your friends to be able to click on your name and be directed to your page with all of your information and photos displayed.

Open a new search page on your internet. Search for "Myspace 2.0 layouts." You should now have a list of websites where they have the layout codes for you. Choose which layout you want for your profile page. Copy the html code to your clipboard. You can do this by highlighting the code and hitting ctrl c.

Go Back to your Myspace account page. At the top of your main Myspace page, you should have different tab options. Click on the profile tab. Next a list of options is going to appear. Choose the "customize profile" option. You will now be directed to your myspace profile customize profile page.

Choose the "no theme" option at the top in the select theme box. You now want to go to the "css" option, it is the fourth option down. In the css box, you now want to paste the code that you have copied. To paste, you can right click your mouse and choose paste. Or you can hit the ctrl V keys on your keyboard.

Hit preview in the top left corner after the css code is pasted. If the layout changes to the 2.0 layout that you picked, then hit the publish button on the top right corner. Your Myspace page should now be changed.

Tips & Warnings
You may have to add an additional code to the "about me" box in your profile. To do this you need to go to "edit profile" on the profile tab.
Make sure the layout code you copied is a 2.0 layout code. Also, make sure your myspace account is designed for the profile 2.0 design.
