How to Delete Your Myspace

Myspace concentrates on the entertainment industry.

Myspace is a social-networking site targeted at a Gen Y audience. The site is centered around the entertainment industry, including music, celebrities, TV, movies and games. If you have lost interest in Myspace and want to cancel your account, you can do so by accessing your account settings.

Instructions

1. Log into your Myspace account.

2. Click the "My Stuff" tab and then click "Account Settings."

3. Click the "Cancel Account" link under the Account Settings & Privacy heading.

4. Click "Cancel account" on the next page to confirm that that's what you want to do.

5. Log into the email account you used for your Myspace account and look for a confirmation email from Myspace.

6. Click the link in the email to be taken to Myspace to verify your email address. Click "Cancel Account" again to complete the cancellation process.

Tips & Warnings

• If you don't want to delete your account permanently you can set your profile to private so it is only visible to you. This way if you decide to reactivate your account, you will still have all your photos and friends.

• Cancellation of your account is permanent. You will lose all your friends and photos and won't be able to get any of them back.
