The one thing many people do not have today is respect for things. Court is no different. Do Lawyers go to Court without a Suit? Then why should you! May it be small claims, divorce, our a criminal act, you need to dress with respect.

No hats, jean, or t-shirts with logos. I suggest you wear a suit if you have one. If not borrow one or wear nice pants with a shirt and tie. No sneakers, this is not the gym. Borrow them if you need today. The Court workers and Judge will work with you more if you look like you respect them..

Women no over sexy clothes or too much cleavage. Why? It is inappropriate, not mature and distracts which can hurt you. This is not the beach so no sundress or flip flops. A nice dress or top and skirt will do, or the best a suit. Even if you are a horrible person or convict dressing nice and looking clean shaved and smelling clean looks good.
