Things You'll Need
- Wax and polish remover
- Paste Wax
- Finishing sander
- Extra-fine sandpaper
- Rags

Remove old wax with wax and polish remover.

Prepare the finishing sander with extra-fine sandpaper. It is helpful if you use a sander with dust bag.

Sand wood until smooth and satiny.

Wipe wood with rags to remove all the wood dust.

Apply paste wax with rags or extra-fine steel wool using a circular motion.

Allow to dry for one half to one hour.

Buff with soft cotton rag.

For new furniture, repeat this entire process two or three times.
