How to Write a Down to Earth Appology Letter

Whether you want to admit it or not, at some point you will offend somebody or just do something stupid and will want to make it up. Well, a highly overlooked method of mending things is writing a good apology letter. But if you are going to write one, you want to do it the right way.

Instructions

1. Start off with writing on a piece of paper, do not type it on a computer. Writing apology letters on the computer is for business and business only!

2. Start off with a line like "I am so sorry..." or "I want to apologize..." Just don't waist time rambling on about unrelated things. Just get to the point and do it quick.

3. Say exactly what you sorry for. Make sure to express your point clearly so the person does not misunderstand anything you are saying. And honestly, who wants to read a really long letter from somebody that they are mad at?

4. Promise that it will never happed again, and if you can try to express that you want to have the opportunity to prove it to them.

5. End with asking the person to go to lunch with you or something similar. What better way to restart your relationship then going out with that person.

• Make sure to write the aapology letter quickly, do not wait so long that the person will be permanently mad at you.

• Just writing an apology letter lets the other person know that you know you messed up and that you care enough to fix it.
