My favorite remedy I have seen my unfortunate sister use countless times was an at home remedy which involves egg yolks and olive oil. Use one egg yolk and whisk it together with two tablespoons of olive oil. This will make enough for one use. Now, once your in the shower you use this before your normal washing. Wet your hair and add the concoction to your hair and leave it in for 10 minutes. Make sure to work it into the ends well. Rinse it out and shampoo as usual.
