1. Determine if you are eligible to become a flight attendant. Airline jobs have specific requirements that need to be met before employment is considered. Individuals with felonies may not be eligible for airline employment. Different airlines require flight attendants to meet certain height and weight requirements as well.

   Most major airlines also offer flight attendant training programs directly through their airline. These programs have the advantage of direct job placement with the company after graduation.

3. If you chose to go with an independent flight school, apply to all the major airlines after you graduate. Make a copy of your certificate of completion and send it in with your resume. Any career related experience is also a plus on your resume.
