4. Inspect your dogs nipples. When dogs get pregnant their nipples become a darker shade of red and swell up. If she is further along in her pregnancy, you might even notice secretions coming from the nipples.

5. Monitor your dogs weight. As she gets further along, her weight will start to spike. You will also be able to noticeably see a difference in the size of her belly.
