How to Edit Digital Photos with PhotoScape for Free

Editing photos can be fun and easy. If you enjoy taking photos with your digital camera and want to share them with you friends on the Internet, first you have to edit them. To edit your photos you need a photo editing software program. There are many programs available but the one that I like to use is completely free and it's called PhotoScape and it is a great photo-editing tool.

Instructions

1. 

   To download the free photo-editing software program go to this website: http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/download.php

   Go through the installation process and when it's completed you have to restart your computer. After that you are ready to start editing your photos with this fun to use program! You can then start to fix, resize and enhance your photos. It is easy to use and you can edit pictures individually or in a batch with the batch editor to save time.

   To resize your photos, click, click on the Editor button. Then select the folder where is the photo located. You can select more than one photo. Drag and drop the photo to the empty box on the right. Then select options, click the resize button and select the length or width. Then click the save button and you're done!

   To edit multiple photos, go back to the main menu and click on the Batch Editor Button. Then select and drop your photos to the right, select the resize measurements and click convert all button. The originals get automatically saved in another folder, and the resized photos are saved in a folder that you select.

   You can also combine multiple photos in one and make a collage. It's pretty cool feature to use. You can use other editing features to enhance your photos- you can crop your photos, add text box, add different shapes, rotate your photos, remove red eye, you can brighten or darken your photos, increase saturation and color or decolorize in sepia or in black and white. You can sharpen them, use contrast, bloom or backlight and you can add different filters to change your photos in cool ways.

   There are a lot of things that this program allows you to do with your photos so you can customize and enhance them before printing, emailing or publishing them on the Internet.
