1
Leave work at work. Create a boundary between work and the rest of your life by setting up a no-work zone for yourself.
-
2
Pinpoint the problem. Track the time you spend doing different work-related tasks. Then check your log for any tasks that could be better managed or even eliminated. Prioritize the tasks on your list.

3
Delegate. Ask others for help - at home or in the workplace.
-
4
Investigate your options. If flex hours or job sharing or telecommuting would make your workload more manageable, ask your supervisor about your options. Knowing you have choices can be empowering.
-
5
Schedule interruptions. Interruptions are going to happen, so you might as well schedule 10 minutes an hour for them.
-
6
Connect with others. Talk to a coworker, a friend or your family about the stresses you are facing. Sometimes just talking can help.
-
7
Say NO. Remember that if you say Yes to a new project, you're saying no to something else. Is it really worth it?
-
8
Relax. Set aside time each day to unwind. For instance, read in a quiet room, practice yoga, or take a bath.
