How to Find Sites that Link to You

A website that links to your website is any Web page other than yours with a link to take people to your site when they click on it. Bloggers in particular are interested in seeing how many sites are linked to their pages. If you are into link building your website, this can be a useful tool for you to keep up with the amount of links to your site.

Instructions

1. Open an Internet browser on your computer and go to the Yahoo! website. Yahoo indexes most of the sites on the Internet. Your search results will include only sites indexed by Yahoo!

2. Type "linkdomain:[yoursite.com]" in the Yahoo! search browser. Substitute the actual name of your site for the "[yoursite.com]" portion of the search.

3. Click "Enter." You are transferred to Yahoo! Site Explorer. If the site has links, they show up immediately.
