How to Clear Cache Files, Cookies and Temporary Files for Internet Explorer 6.0
Internet Explorer 6, like other versions of Internet Explorer, stores your cookies and cache files in the Temporary Internet Files folder on the computer. Cookies are small pieces of text that Web pages save on the computer to store website preferences or other information. Cache files are images, scripts and other pieces of Web pages that Internet Explorer stores on the computer. The next time you visit a website that uses them, Internet Explorer loads the content from the cache, reducing the amount of downloaded data. You can clear these temporary files from the "Internet Options" dialog.
