      Put on all the protective equipment, such as gloves, goggles and facemask. It is extremely important that you do not skip this part, as you need these items to protect the most vulnerable parts of your body, such as your hands and eyes, from the abrasive chemical.

      Activate the jet washer.

      Clean off all debris and residue from the asphalt with the pressurized water.

      Apply the muriatric acid directly onto the area with the skid marks. Do not oversaturate the area but apply liberal amount. Allow the acid several minutes to soak in.

      Get down on your knees, on top of the skid mark area.

      Scrub the area with the wire brush using an up-down or circular motion. When scrubbing, use pressure to ensure that all dirt and debris are removed and to scrub in the acid.

      Rinse the entire area with the jet washer to ensure that all of the acid and debris are completely washed off.

      Repeat the steps as often as necessary to remove the skid marks.
