Measure and mark a 2x4x6 piece of wood at 30 3/4 inches. Repeat this process three times. The pieces will serve as the four legs of your picnic table.

Set your chop saw at a 22.5-degree angle and cut the four pieces of wood. Set aside.

Measure and mark two 2x4x6 pieces of wood so they are 30 1/2-inches long. These pieces will serve as the top cross brace of your picnic table. The table top will screw into this piece.

Cut the top cross brace at a 22.5 degree angle on your chop saw. Mark and set aside.

Measure and mark two 2x4x6 pieces so they are 54 1/4 inches long. These pieces will serve as the middle section brace for your picnic table.

Cut the 54 1/4-inch pieces with a chop saw. These pieces should be cut straight so there is no angle.
