How to Put a Crease in Your Jeans

Though some people may think putting a crease in your jeans is out of date, some people still enjoy and embrace the style. With less than five minute of preparation time, you can have the perfect crease in your jeans. If the steps are carried out accurately, you may not have to crease the jeans again.

Things You'll Need

• Iron
• Jeans
• Water
• Spray starch

Instructions

1. Preheat the iron on the steam setting. Fill the iron with water. If you do not have an iron with a water compartment, use starch instead.

2. Zip and button the jeans, and then fold them from one side over the other vertically.

3. Spray the jean crease with water or starch, then place the iron over the area and press down hard. Iron up and down with a lot of pressure.

4. Flip the jeans over and repeat step 3.

Tips & Warnings

• If you only want a crease for a one-time use, do not press down as hard in step three.

• If you would like to take the crease out, open the jeans up with both sides facing you and iron over the crease.
