Instructions

    • 1

Hose off the water skis and clean them well with a wet rag. Make sure to scrub off dirt, but do not scrub hard enough to scratch the top or bottom surfaces. Make sure to clean the area around the bindings as well, as dirt or sand can easily get stuck in some of the crevices.

    • 2

Dry the skis and binding area with a towel, making sure they are completely dry before putting them away. You can also let them sit in the sun after toweling off to make sure they are dry.

    • 3

Put the water skis into the padded water ski bag that they came with for storage. If you do not have one, wrap skis in an old blanket to keep them dust free and protected. Make sure that your bindings, especially high wrap bindings, are not forced down or bent in the bag or blanket. If this is the case, leave the bag open at that spot and cover the bindings with plastic bags or another blanket.

    • 4

Store the covered water skis indoors, either hanging in a garage or on a shelf in a basement or storage area. Do not store them leaning against a wall or they may fall over, which many cause damage.

Tips & Warnings

  • Store wets suits, ropes and other water ski equipment or accessories in the same place or near water skis, keeping it all together for easy access in the future.
