  • Coffee grinder
  • Tapioca pearls

      Open the lid of the coffee grinder and pour tapioca pearls inside. The amount of pearls to use will depend on the size of the coffee grinder and also the amount of flour that is needed. Fill the coffee grinder about halfway full of tapioca pearls.

      Place the lid back on the coffee grinder and turn the grinder on. Grind the tapioca pearls into an ultra-fine consistency.

      Remove the tapioca flour from the coffee grinder. Use the tapioca flour immediately or pour it into an airtight container. Seal the container and store the tapioca flour in the refrigerator until it is needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • When using tapioca flour as a substitute for regular flour, use equal amounts. If a recipe calls for 1 cup of flour, use 1 cup of tapioca flour instead.
