How to Play Computer Games Using HDMI
While there aren't a lot of games that are exclusive to PCs these days, there are a few. MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games) are one notable example, with the only exception being Final Fantasy XI. When playing Halo 3 on an Xbox 360 connected to a 60-inch plasma display, you have to wonder what World of Warcraft would be like on that giant screen. It's not hard to find out what it's like.

Tips & Warnings
You can also use a ready-made DVI/HDMI cable rather than a regular HDMI cable and an adapter. While this provides no real advantage to picture quality, it does remove a point of failure. You might also consider purchasing a wireless keyboard and mouse to keep cabling to a minimum.
When selecting the resolution of the display, the traditional terms--720p, 1080i, and 1080p--might not appear. Instead you might get something like 1280x720 or 1920x1080. These are equivalent to the HD standard resolutions of 720p or 1080p, respectively.
