How to Clean a Bosch Mixer
You can use a Bosch mixer as a hand-held or with the stand. Simple mixing recipes may only call for the hand-held while cakes and other recipes that are more complex require the use of the stand. It is important to follow the proper cleaning method to prolong the mixer's life. Clean the Bosch mixer after every use before the food sets in and becomes hard. Does this Spark an idea?

Unplug the mixer from the outlet. Remove the stand and all utensils.

Soak the soft rag under a warm water faucet. Add three drops of the liquid dish soap on a corner of the rag. Fold the rag together and rub back and forth to get suds.

Wipe the base. Use circular strokes around the sides, top and bottom of the base.

Rinse the rag under the warm water. Squeeze out most of the water and all the suds. Clean the soap off the Bosch mixer. Rinse again and repeat the step.

Dry the base with the hand towel. Put away and move on to the stand.

Run the warm water to moisten the rag. Add two drops of soap and rub the rag together for suds.

Wipe the stand in long strokes from top to bottom. Rinse the rag and remove the soapsuds. Sponge down the stand with long strokes.

Place the mixing bowls and utensils in the dishwasher for cleaning. If you do not have a dishwasher, clean in the sink. Use five drops of dish soap and the sink sponge to wash thoroughly.

Tips & Warnings
Never soak the base of the mixer. Also, the base is not dishwasher safe.
Do not use abrasive cleaning tools or chemicals to clean the base of stand. These may damage the Bosch mixer with scratches or nicks.
